Dear parents,
Parent Forum
This month’s Parent Forum will take place on Friday 30th, straight after the Gold Book Assembly. Please stay if you can for an informative session. These meetings really do help to improve home-school communication.
Head lice
Unfortunately we have several cases at the moment. Please ensure you check your child’s hair regularly and tie back long hair (either gender). We also have cases of threadworms. Both can spread very quickly, again please check. Our school nurse is always happy to discuss health issues with you.
Story sacks
We are very grateful to the families who help us. It would be wonderful to have another volunteer to help check the story sacks each week. They are checked on a Tuesday morning, another pair of hands would help be very much appreciated.
Support Your Child in Literacy/Maths
We had a very limited response to last term’s Literacy course, and again this term, only one parent opted to join the Maths course. This may mean you are very happy with your child’s achievements but the Adult Education Team would love to know why families are not keen to attend. If you have any suggestions for courses e.g. parents and children together or other curriculum areas please let us know. We did run an Art Course which was over-subscribed so would love to hear your views. Please use the slip below to keep us in touch with your needs.
School Newsletters
Please would you indicate below if you would like the weekly newsletter by
a) email b) delivered (we hope) by your child c) both.
Yours sincerely,
Susan Marsh (Mrs.)
