Jays trip to London
created: Tuesday Jun 23, 2009 by Jays

On the 22nd of June the Jays went on a trip to the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum in London. When we got to London we went to the Natural History Museum to have a look at the Dinosaur hall. We were in little groups of 4 or 5. It was great. (By Charlie. G, age 11)

On the 22nd of June Jays went to London for the day. First we went to the Natural History Museum and split up into groups. Everybody went into the Dinosaur Hall which was really cool. There was this model of a T- Rex which moved and rawed. Then after about an hour we walked down the road to the Science Museum. First we went to the Imax which was about Dinosaurs and Paleontology. It was very factual and I liked the C G I dinosaurs but the rest was not to my liking. Did you know that a Velociraptor had feathers ?  Then we went to the Launchpad presentation , which was all about structures. After that we went into a room were you could do loads of interesting, enjoyable tests. One of them was a cycling machine which powered some gadgets. We had an hour left to go to the shops and have a look around. Our group walked across a glass bridge , which was really scary. Then we walked to the coach and prepared ourselves for the long journey home. (By Josh, age 10)

Our trip started at 7:00am. On the way we watched nanny mcphee. At 10:00 we whent to the Natural History and looked at the dinosaurs. (By JonJo, age 10)

Then we had 1 hour to go around the shops.  my group went across the glass bridge Mrs Scott was very frightened but we made her go across. Mrs Scott Made us go to the listening post we didnt like it because it was  very  boaring. Then we caught the coach at 4o'clock to go home we stopped at  the services and got back to school at 7 p.m.   (By Ryan.L, age 10)

Our trip to London was very  exiteing. I realy enjoyed the IMAX film about Dinosaurs. It was rather freaky at some parts like at the crocodile at the begining it was as if it was coming right out of the film! (By Freddie, age 10)

We loved London. We had to get to school at 6:50. The coatch was cool because it had a t.v in it. Nanny Mcphee. (By Will, age 10)

Everyone had to get to school at the maximum of 7:00 because that is the time when everyone should be leaving on the coach. My dad, Megans and Kyles came along aswell as Mrs Hill, Mrs Scott and Miss Hill.

We arrived unfortunately 20 minutes late. But we got into the History museum and saw a moving T-rex, but it was a robot. We only got 40 minutes in there but when we got out we went straight to the science museum.

At 12:00 we went to see an Imax film. Some people thought it was boring but I thought it was rather interesting. It wasn't what I expected but it was good to me. The title of the film was Dinosaurs Alive but they were mostly dead.

We also had a free time at around 3:00. My group went into a load of plastic strips and the were walls in the middle and I walked into one. (By Jonathan, age 10)

The jays went to london and saw the dinosaur exhibition,an imax film of"dinosaurs alive" ,launchpad "structures" and the science Museum.

At the dinosaur exhibition, we saw a huge animtronic T-rex that kept eyeballing me and rob
